Mikenna is excited to join breea as an ESG Certification Specialist and looks forward to helping clients achieve their sustainability and ESG goals. In her previous role as a Sustainability Consultant for an engineering firm in her hometown of Lexington (KY), Mikenna supported LEED design certifications and building-level technical analyses, including life cycle analyses (LCAs) and daylighting studies. Passionate about climate resilience, Mikenna will also support breea’s climate resiliency efforts, including the development of mitigation strategies to help clients prepare for and adapt to the changing climate.

Additionally, her prior work experience includes developing a strategic Zero Waste Plan for a higher education institution, which involved gathering and analyzing waste data and connecting with various stakeholders to build support for waste reduction strategies and implementation goals.
